Network Structure: As a person, we need to know how the Network works. that helps us to understand the importance of Networking in our life.

And to understand how the devices are arranged in general way and how network really works. so to understand this we need to understand the structure of the network.

so today we are going to learn about what is a network and how the network works worldwide and the basic network structure.

What is Network Structure?

To communicate with one another man we need networks. and the internet by which a computer can connect to another computer all over the world is called network. and there are many things and devices involved to communication one computer to another. and in the way these things are arranged is called the structure of network.

There are Two Types of Networks

  • Local Network
  • Global Network

Local Network

The internet is a local network. How we transfer the bits. the network can’t work with the programming languages. they have not submitted strings whatever else.

Again hardware can only work with base two (2) numbers one(1) and not(0). We need a LAN cable to use and transfer the bit. LAN means Local Area Networks.

It’s a cable by which two computers connect and sends data to each other. the data is in sends and receive in electric charges Positive and Negative.

What is a Router

A router is a computer. it has a chipboard made of silicon. it has firmware. it has a process as memory as RAM. so it can temporarily store data and also detect data.

When we connect LAN to the computer to Router. So we get Local Network. We have only two types of connectivity.

  1. Wired
  2. Wireless

We can’t have any other type. wireless need Ariel technology. ariels send the bits and receive the bits to communicate from one device to another device. To complete a network we need two or more computers. The network always works in two way send or receive.

Global network

A global network is any communication network that connects the entire earth. when the local networks connect with each other then we give shape to the Global Network.

Note: The first global network was established using electrical telegraphy and the global span was achieved in 1899.
