C++ program to display the sum of mathematics series

YASH PAL, 31 July 202422 August 2024

In this post we will write a C++ program to display the sum of mathematics series. first user will enter the a number for the base and then the number for power. and then program will print the sum and the series.

C++ program to display the sum of mathematics series

C++ program to display the sum of mathematics series.

#include<iostream>
#include<conio.h>

int main()
{
 system("cls");

    double i,res,p,b;
    float res2,n,n2;

    std::cout<<"Enter the base of any number = ";
    std::cin>>b;
    std::cout<<"Enter the power of number = ";
    std::cin>>p;

    res = 1;
    n = 0.0;

    std::cout<<"The Series 1";

    for(i=1;i<=p;i++)
    {
        res = res*b;
        std::cout<<"+1/"<<res;
        res2 = 1.0/res;
        n = n+res2;
    }

    n2 = 1 + n;
    std::cout<<" = "<<n2<<std::endl;

    getch();
    return 0;
}

Output

Enter the base of any number = 4
Enter the power of number = 7
The series 1+1/4+1/16+1/64+1/256+1/1024+1/4096+1/16384 = 1.333313
